List five things you do for fun.
1.)Bookclub
2.)Dungeons and Dragons
3.)Read Romantasy
4.)Create new dishes
5.)Spend time with loved ones
Every month I attend a bookclub either virtually or in person. We move very soon though, and I’m excited to be able to host them in my own space again. I’m ready to make this home my Hygge oasis. I love making food and serving my friends, it’s basically my love language to them. I am ready to redecorate from scratch, and make this the space for my creative side.
I play Dungeons and Dragons every week for an hour with friends, and this is something I love to do. I love to roll with it (pun intended). Our sessions are very goofy and spontaneous, and I like to enjoy the roleplaying aspect of it, getting away from the real world. I also started picking up a few other table top games. Warhammer is new but it’s something my husband and I enjoy together. It will be nice to have a kitchen table to be able to play from again.
Reading is something I started back up not very long ago. Lately I’ve been in a bit of a slump hyper focussed on other things, but I pick up Fourth Wing as I can and decided to stick with finishing that series up for a bit. I need a cozy reading corner where I can plop all my favorite books and knick knacks while I visit dragons and Magickal places.
Cooking has been hard with the lack of a stove where we reside currently, so something I’m excited to do is cook again. To be able to create some new dishes, I really can’t wait to be able to bake treats and breads with tasty cheeses. I want to be able to explore more cultures and have the space and energy to do so.
I love to spend time with friends and family. Lately it’s been a lot of going to them, but soon enough I’ll be able to host dinners and gatherings once again. It’s something I can’t wait to do since we will truly be able to make this a place for our comfort and peace.
Sometimes our current situations aren’t ideal, but we learn how to work with what we have and also appreciate what we currently don’t. It’s been a year since I’ve lived with my father in law. As much as we appreciate and love our family we can’t wait for this journey. I’m impatiently waiting.
