What could you let go of, for the sake of harmony?
The what ifs are something I definitely would let go of for the sake of harmony. Even though I think it can be a good thing to think of the possibilities, sitting and pestering in on the decisions that you didn’t make can eat you alive when it comes to your anxiety. This is something that is a truth for me. Especially after a long day of work.
I go over all the things I wish I could’ve improved on, or what I think I may have said or done wrong. All it really does is feed the negative parts of my soul and creates a hole where my anxiety lives and festers kind of like a cancer. It’s always good to improve, and know where you can improve especially in your professional life, but harping on it doesn’t create a positive mindset. It does the complete opposite.
I plan to start the new week with clear, positive intentions. Really go forward with a certain mindset. Focus on the tasks at hand, and not harping on the what ifs and more so focusing on the now. I have some goals to help with this, like writing/reading daily, moving my body even if it’s only for ten minutes. Focusing on what I’m consuming whether it be food, drinks, or media. I am the captain of my own ship.
