Finding Balance: Moving My Body, Clearing My Mind
Yoga has always been one of my favorite ways to stay active — along with taking long walks in quiet, secluded parts of nature. There’s something about moving my body while also clearing my mind that makes me feel grounded and at peace.

Lately, though, I’ve been struggling with taking care of myself. In a way, writing this blog feels like fate — a gentle nudge to get back to what makes me feel good. I know how much better I feel mentally when I make movement a part of my everyday routine, so this is my way of holding myself accountable and finding motivation again.

On top of that, I’ve been feeling a lot of uncertainty about where I want to be career-wise. Life looks very different now with a toddler and all the changes happening around me. I recently tried working from home for a call center insurance job, and I quickly realized it wasn’t for me. I was dreading logging into my computer every day, and that’s when I knew I needed something more meaningful — something that aligns with my passions and values.

So, I’ve decided to take a step back and focus on my well-being. I’ve applied for some substitute teaching positions nearby for now, giving myself the space to prioritize my mental and physical health. I want to feel fulfilled again — in both body and mind — and this feels like the right direction to start.

I’d love to hear from you — what’s something that helps you feel grounded when life starts to feel a little overwhelming? Share in the comments so we can inspire each other to slow down and reconnect. 💛
