First off, I’d like to thank the author, publisher, and NetGalley for letting me get my hands on this adorable ARC. This graphic novel/manga was the cutest palate cleanser. Definitely a YA fantasy, I loved that the main character has a deep love for books, along with the talking animals and the geese. There were so many sweet, charming details throughout this read.
The artwork is perfect—my favorite part is when she’s telling her “story about Hamelin.” I especially loved the details in those few pages.
What can I say about Theo? What a funny little character. I absolutely love him. He looks after both characters in the book and makes sure the stay out of trouble.
