What’s a fear you’ve overcome — and how did you do it?
One of the biggest fears I’ve overcome is people-pleasing.
What helped me? Realizing that you’re not everyone’s cup of tea—or whiskey on the rocks, whatever you prefer. And that’s okay.
The right people will find you. When you’re authentically yourself, the people who genuinely connect with you will naturally gravitate toward you.
I feel like I’m in a completely new era of my life—a true self-love era—and I’m loving every second of it. If something doesn’t contribute to my growth, I simply don’t want it in my life.
Once you reach that point, there’s no better feeling. There’s no going back because there’s no greater high than loving who you truly are and not worrying so much about what other people think.
My circle is small, but I know the people in it are there because they genuinely love and accept me for who I am.
Even professionally, I no longer people-please just to be liked or accepted. That was something I struggled with for a long time.
These days, I love having the flexibility to work from home while still being able to go into the office when I want some social interaction. It’s the best of both worlds, and it fits who I am now.
Growth, peace, authenticity, and self-respect—I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
